Renegade Handmade is the brick + mortar and online store of the Renegade Craft Fair, located in the heart of Wicker Park in Chicago. We carry the handmade work of hundreds of artists from around the US and abroad, featuring an array of items - including artwork, housewares, clothing, jewelry, stationery, diy kits and much much more. We're always looking for new artists to carry in the shop, and encourage you to apply to have your items sold here!
- If you're interested in consigning at Renegade Handmade, fill out the following application and someone will be in touch with you within 1 month if we're interested in carrying your items.
- Being a small boutique, we have limited space in our storefront - so therefore, we carefully curate the items accepted into the shop. We review everyone’s complete application and then make our choice based on several factors:
+ How your items fit in with our vision of ‘Renegade’ crafts
+ The quality, innovation and uniqueness of your wares
+ The overall cohesiveness and consistency of your work
+ How your items are represented in your photos/website
+ How much space we have to add to each section (jewelry, tees, etc.)
- Once we review your application, we will email you about whether or not we are interested in taking your items at this time. We will email you the consignment terms, and determine styles/sizes/quantities/colors for you to send.
- The consignment split is 50/50 based on your retail prices.
- Payments are made each month by check or thru PayPal, along with an email itemizing what sold that month.
- Items will be kept in inventory for 3 months. At the end of the 3 months we will come to a mutual decision to either keep your unsold items in stock, or return them to you.
- Please list a URL to your photos, or upload up to 5 images below. Please make sure that all images attached below are 72 dpi, otherwise the application will reset itself.
